Who is Christopher J. James?
Chris began working in the financial sector in 1993. He spent 18 years combined between Spear, Leeds & Kellogg, FTN National and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Fixed Income sales. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware, an MBA from the Kellstadt School of Business at DePaul University in 2003 and the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor designation from the College of Financial Planning.
Chris has been married to his wife Peggy for 21 years. Chris and Peggy live in Hinsdale, Illinois where they keep busy raising their 4 children. He is a lifelong athlete who enjoys competing in various sports. He has completed a marathon and a triathlon, and enjoys running, golf and basketball, particularly with his children. He is an active member of his community and has coached his children in basketball, soccer, baseball, and flag football. Chris is a U.S Army Veteran of the 10th Mountain Division and is dedicated to Veteran’s causes. He has performed volunteer work for the Pat Tillman Foundation and Feed My Starving Children.
